'Wanda Blue Shades' mosquito bills (Primula 'Wanda Blue Shades') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Fragrant blue flowers with yellow eyes bloom in early to late spring above burgundy leaves, and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Blue bead lily, American maidenhair fern, and Spring Beauty Siberian squill.
