Notes

'Spring Beauty' Siberian squill (Scilla siberica 'Spring Beauty') is a bulb for borders, containers, and naturalized drifts. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It bears blue flowers from early to late spring on stems 3 to 6 inches tall. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. W.J. Eldering bred it.

Pairs well with Bunchberry, Red fescue, and Nigra hollyhock.
