Notes

'Waris' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Waris') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. It grows about 43 inches tall and bears fragrant black blooms that attract bees. J. Snoek bred it, so you can enjoy its dark spikes in the border or in a vase.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Virginia sweetspire, and Fountain grass.
