Notes
'Wekplapep' rose (Rosa 'Wekplapep') is a compact shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and wide, so it fits a tidy hedge in a small space. The red and white striped blooms are fragrant, and they stand out against the medium green leaves. Thomas F. Carruth bred it in 1999.
Pairs well with Forever Susan lily, Rouge Cardinal clematis, and Hummelo betony.
