Notes
Welsh polypody (Polypodium cambricum) is a fern for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and does well in alkaline or neutral soil, so it asks for little care.
Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Ivy-leaved cyclamen, Winter aconite, and Arnold Promise Japanese witch hazel.
