Notes

'White Licorice' rose (Rosa 'White Licorice') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant blooms smell of sweet licorice and lemon, and bees visit them. The flowers look more yellow in cool weather and more white in summer heat. Weeks Roses introduced it in 2009.

Pairs well with Black chokeberry, Culver’s root, and Ornamental onion.
