Notes

'Wilger' dahlia (Dahlia 'Wilger') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The blooms have purplish red outer florets with a light purple glow over a greenish yellow base. Dark stems mark this cultivar, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. G. van Dijk bred it.

Pairs well with Red spider lily, Anemone, and Autumn fern.
