Notes
'Winky Blue and White' columbine (Aquilegia 'Winky Blue and White') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Sedge, Royal fern, Spanish bluebell, and Indian grass.
