Notes

'Wintersonne' tree heath (Erica carnea 'Wintersonne') is a shrub for borders, containers, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy soil. This evergreen grows slowly, has a dense habit, and attracts bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Its blooms open in winter and again in spring.

Pairs well with Mondo grass, Little Gem southern magnolia, and Italian cypress.
