Notes
'Wizard of Oz' dahlia (Dahlia 'Wizard of Oz') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Purple top, and Montbretia.
