Notes

Woollypod milkweed (Asclepias eriocarpa) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fine hairs cover the plant and give it a silvery tint. Deer tend to pass it by. Long hairs on the seed pods look woolly, which gives the plant its name.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Blue fescue, and Lily.
