Notes

'Yellow Hit' rose (Rosa 'Yellow Hit') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays compact and has dark green leaves. Fragrant, deep yellow blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. L. Pernille Olesen bred it in 1988.

Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Hardy geranium, and Nelly Moser clematis.
