Notes

'Yuki Cherry Blossom' deutzia (Deutzia 'Yuki Cherry Blossom') is a shrub for low hedges, specimen plantings, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. In late spring, arching branches are covered in small pink flowers that look like cherry blossoms. Blooms form on the previous year's wood, so prune lightly after flowering. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Japanese forest grass, Casa Blanca lily, and Purple Coneflower coneflower.
