Notes
'NCDX2' deutzia (Deutzia 'NCDX2') is a shrub for hedges and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It bears pink blooms from late spring to early summer, and it tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Fall color adds interest after the flowers fade.
Pairs well with Tickseed, September Charm anemone, and Dogwood.
