Notes

'Abigail' tulip (Tulipa 'Abigail') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The purple blooms are fragrant and open in early to late spring. Plants grow 12 to 24 inches tall, so they fit well at the front of a bed.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Thalia daffodil.
