Notes

'Adora Blue' scarlet sage (Salvia ×coccinea 'Adora Blue') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Violet-blue flowers appear in late spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Blue fescue, and Heather.
