Notes

'Afterglow' tulip (Tulipa 'Afterglow') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are orange shot with rose, which gives each bloom a warm, two-toned look. They open from early to late spring. You can cut a few stems for a vase while the rest keep color in the bed.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Many Happy Returns peony, and Little bluestem.
