Notes

'Aglow' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Aglow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its creamy white double blooms open in late spring with a breath of shell pink over the center. The waxy petals roll outward and look like a huge white rose. Strong, stiff stems hold the flowers up, and the foliage stays clean.

Pairs well with Columbine, Smooth aster, and Royal fern.
