Notes

'Albertine' rose (Rosa 'Albertine') is a climbing shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Rene Barbier bred it in 1921. It bears fragrant orange-pink blooms that draw butterflies and bees. Watch for thorns when you prune or tie in the long stems.

Pairs well with Etoile Violette clematis, Hardy geranium, and Lavender.
