Notes

'Alea' rose (Rosa 'Alea') is a compact shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep pink blooms open from early to late summer and have a sweet scent. Bees visit the flowers. Noack Rosen bred it.

Pairs well with Sweet pepperbush, Jackmanii clematis, Ornamental onion, and Creeping phlox.
