Notes

'Allgold' rose (Rosa 'Allgold') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium yellow, fragrant blooms keep their rich color through every stage of flowering. Bees visit the flowers, and the compact, bushy habit suits bedding. Edward Burton Le Grice bred it in 1957.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Little bluestem, Queen of Night tulip, and Nelly Moser clematis.
