Notes

'Ambiance' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ambiance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Smooth white buds open into fragrant, bomb-shaped flowers in early to mid spring. The long stems make good cut flowers. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 1985.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Stargazer lily, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
