Notes

'Amethyst in Snow' knapweed (Centaurea Montana 'Amethyst in Snow') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. White petals surround a blue-purple center. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the clumping plants grow fast and tolerate drought.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Nodding onion, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
