Notes
'Gold Bullion' knapweed (Centaurea Montana 'Gold Bullion') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Blue flowers open in late spring and can return in summer and autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the clumping plants grow quickly.
Pairs well with Blanket flower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, and Black Oil sunflower.
