Notes
'Amistad' sage (Salvia 'Amistad') is an annual for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Large, grape purple flowers rise from black sepals from early summer until frost. The blooms produce plenty of nectar for hummingbirds and other pollinators. Deer tend to pass it by. You can overwinter it indoors in a greenhouse, house, or garage.
Pairs well with Bishop of Llandaff dahlia, Lemon Grass lemongrass, and Mondo grass.
