Notes

'Evening Glow' salvia (Salvia 'Evening Glow') is a good pick for borders, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought and salt, so it needs little care.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Lily, and Mexican sunflower.
