'Balsalmisp' sage (Salvia 'Balsalmisp') is a perennial that bears blue flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. They tolerate drought, so they suit dry beds.
