Notes

'Andie MacDowell' rose (Rosa 'Andie MacDowell') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows 18 to 24 inches tall with an upright habit and dark green leaves. Orange-red blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Michael C. Williams bred it in 2003.

Pairs well with Panicle hydrangea, Blue wild indigo, Japanese forest grass, and Nelly Moser clematis.
