Notes

'André Lauries' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'André Lauries') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Crousse bred it in 1881. The large, dense blooms are rose-red with white flecks and a darker center. They open in late spring to early summer above dark green foliage.

Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
