Notes

'Angèle Pernet' rose (Rosa 'Angèle Pernet') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange blooms shade to yellow and have a golden-yellow reverse. Bees visit the flowers, which open in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Joseph Pernet-Ducher bred it in 1924.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Creeping thyme, and Little bluestem.
