Notes

'Angelic Dawn' peony (Paeonia 'Angelic Dawn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant lavender flowers are semi-double and face upward, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Swenson Gardens bred it.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
