Notes

'Ann Folkard' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Ann Folkard') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The spring leaves are bright chartreuse and turn green with age, while magenta flowers with black centers bloom for a long time. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Prairie dropseed.
