Notes

'Brookside' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Brookside') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches, so give it room. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Silver sage, Bouquet peony, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
