Notes

'Patricia' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Patricia') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Magenta pink flowers with black star-shaped centers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies visit them.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Halcyon hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
