Notes

'Anna Bee' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Anna Bee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Tall stems carry deep pink Japanese type flowers in late spring. Narrow petaloids have cream-yellow edges and sit around light green pistils. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Lupine, New England aster, Foxtail barley, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
