Notes

'Anna-Jane' peony (Paeonia 'Anna-Jane') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant apricot blooms shade to pink with dark red flares in early to late spring, and strong stems hold them well above the foliage. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 1996.

Pairs well with Star Gazer lily, Elegans hosta, and Pink Impression tulip.
