Notes

'Antares F1' fennel (Foeniculum vulgare 'Antares F1') is an herb for borders, food gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows upright and blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, and it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Carrot, Mountain Magic tomato, and Blue wood aster.
