Notes

'Orazio' fennel (Foeniculum vulgare 'Orazio') is an herb for borders, pollinator gardens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It forms large, thick, rounded bulbs and stands erect. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it is fragrant and drought tolerant.

Pairs well with PowWow Wild Berry coneflower, Salad burnet, Carrot, and Bowman's root.
