Notes

'Purpureum' bronze fennel (Foeniculum vulgare 'Purpureum') is an herb for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. This fragrant plant blooms from early to late summer and attracts butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer tend to pass it by. Give it room, since it grows 36 to 60 inches tall.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Moonshine yarrow, and Oregano.
