Aphrodite hosta

Notes

'Aphrodite' hosta (Hosta plantaginea 'Aphrodite') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and fragrant plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. Its light green leaves are glossy and ribbed. Large double white flowers open in summer and smell sweet. Plant it away from heat and drying winds.

Pairs well with Pacific bleeding heart, Blue Spruce sedum, and Samantha lily.
