Apple Green coneflower

Notes

'Apple Green' coneflower (Echinacea 'Apple Green') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flower beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The semi-double flowers open apple green and later gain white highlights around a large, fragrant cone. They bloom from early to late summer. The seed heads feed birds over winter.

Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Tall fescue, Pink Impression tulip, and Francee hosta.
