'Archeron' tulip (Tulipa 'Archeron') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are a dull garnet red and open from early to late spring. Cut a few stems to bring the deep color indoors.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Pale purple coneflower, and Cytherea peony.
