Notes

Arizona cypress (Hesperocyparis glabra) is a tree for hedges, woodland plantings, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is an evergreen that tolerates drought and salt, and birds visit it. Deer tend to browse other plants first. The foliage mixes green with purple and lavender tones all year.

Pairs well with Wax myrtle, Snowbrush, and Wallflower.
