Notes

'Goldcrest' monterey cypress (Hesperocyparis guadalupensis 'Goldcrest') is a tree for borders, hedges, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It stays green all year and has fragrant foliage. It also tolerates salt, and it needs little care once established.

Pairs well with Italian cypress, Texas mountain laurel, and Lemon thyme.
