Notes
'Art' coneflower (Echinacea 'Art') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Orange petals surround a brown center cone from early to late summer, and the blooms are fragrant. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Ageratum, Sedge, and Dalmatian bellflower.
