Notes

'Arvella' tulip (Tulipa 'Arvella') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows about 18 inches tall and bears orange-pink blooms from early to late spring. Jan Ligthart bred it, but the source gives no year, so no date is added.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Shirley Temple peony, and Little bluestem.
