Notes

'Athena' rose (Rosa 'Athena') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 35 inches tall and bears fragrant white blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring to early autumn. Kordes bred it in 1985.

Pairs well with Gaura, Culver’s root, and Rock rose.
