Notes
'Athleet' tulip (Tulipa 'Athleet') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Its white flowers open from early to late spring. They stand about 18 inches tall, so they fit well near the front or middle of a bed. Cut the stems when the buds show color to enjoy them indoors. E. Kooi bred it.
Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Ernest Markham clematis, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
