Notes
'Atkinsii' snowdrop (Galanthus 'Atkinsii') is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It is one of the earliest snowdrops to bloom, and the fragrant white flowers hang from tall stems with an inverted green heart on the inner petals. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Fire and Ice hosta, and Picture tulip.
