Notes

Atlas fescue (Lolium mairei) is a grass for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumps grow 24 to 36 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Amethyst sage, Pale purple coneflower, Stonecrop, and Patricia crane's-bill.
